We have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to help support starting up our little business. We need a bigger production kitchen, more machines and more moulds, so we hope for your support. You can also be the first to experience our seasonal chocolate. The chocolate subscriptions for 2018 are only going to be sold through this crowdfunding campaign and by supporting us now you are guaranteed chocolate throughout the next year. Of course, if you just want a bar or two of our normal bars head to the webshop and fill up your basket!
The campaign, run through the COOP group in Denmark can be found here: https://crowdfunding.coop.dk/project/366. If you have a Danish address and want some great chocolate delivered to your door then visit that site and please sign up.
If you are outside of Denmark then you can still get access to the crowdfunding rewards – but you’ll need to send an email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org or fill in the form at the bottom of this page, and let us know which reward you want to go for and then we can sort the payments, etc.

As we specialise in seasonal chocolate – rather than selling individual bars we are offering a subscription model. What this means is: you sign up here and then chocolate magically arrives through your post box at the change of the season (every 3 months). Of course, this isn’t just a normal chocolate bar – it will be packed with the tastes of the changing seasons in Denmark, beautifully packaged and every bar will come with an individual piece of specially commissioned artwork. We will also probably include some occasional tasting bars as well, to try out new flavour combinations.
How much chocolate you want to appear is up to you – we currently offer three options:
November 26, 2016
The organic Ecuadorian Criollo beans deliver rich coffee notes and a fruity, cherry tang. It’s smooth and delicious, and we are proud that this 70% is our very first dark chocolate bar.

Stronger than a normal milk chocolate. This bar blends the fruitiness of the organic Ghanaian beans with a long luxurious creamy Danish ‘sødmælk’ (whole milk, but literally ‘sweet milk’).
Our first confection. A reflection on the winter in Aarhus – bitter, sweet and salty all coming together perfectly into a smooth, beautiful mouthful. Hyggeligt!
We use two different types of Ø&E chocolate in these moulded chocolates. We use the fruity, coffee notes of the Ecuadorian Criollo beans (used in Nordic Noir 70%) for the covering and the coconutty Forastero beans from Cote d’Ivoire for the nougat. They play together perfectly with the lightly salted caramel – with salt from Mariager in North Jutland – and the sweet luxury of the dark nougat. The finishing touch is a roasted hazelnut – bringing a welcome crunch and a toasty taste of Winter.
Presented in a unique and gorgeous pyramid box, the Aarhus Kiss 5 piece collection is a perfect gift and can be ordered right now.
